She Broke My Heart – Should I Give Her Space or Should I Pursue Getting Her Back?

She broke your heart and now you are not sure what you should do.  She did not just break it,  it feels like she ripped it out and that is not the way that you ever imagined things would turn out for you and her.  You had imagined that the two of you would stay together.  Unfortunately,  you are not the first guy to feel like they have had their heart trounced by a woman that they were in love with.  It happens.  And it even happens to the best guys.

Situations like this can make men do some wild things to try and win back their ex girlfriend and you really need to be careful that you do not do anything crazy right now.  It may have totally thrown you for a loop when she dumped you and it may hurt like hell right now,  but there is a chance that all of that can change.

What you have to do if you want things to change is to give her some space at first.  It’s not just for her benefit that you want to do this.  You want to do this for yourself as well.  See, even if you do want to pursue getting her back, you still need to give her some space. If you don’t,  then you are almost assured that one day you will regret that.

Your girlfriend did not start dating you with the hopes that things would not work out.  Somewhere inside,  she had the belief that you and her would be a good thing.  Somewhere inside,  she had the belief that the two of you would be able to go the distance.  So,  you can assume that the break up is hard on her,  even if she was the one who initiated it.  And that is why she needs to be able to have some space right now.

You Have to Get Over Your Broken Heart…

You need to be aware of the fact that if you want to get your girlfriend back, you have to allow yourself some time to deal with your own issues.  A broken heart needs it’s time to heal and if your heart is broken,  then give it the time that it needs.  You can’t go after your ex girlfriend when you are still totally heart broken over the ending of the relationship.

If you don’t let that broken heart heal,  then you are going to find that you get jealous really easily.  That you feel really insecure and you are afraid that she is going to tear your heart into shreds one more time.  That cannot be good for a relationship,  so even if things were to look good for you for a while,  inevitably it would still be on the rocks.

You Also Need to Have Options…

The more options that you have when it comes to romance,  the better off you are going to be.  You can’t just be stuck on one woman and expect that things are going to turn out well for you.  Any man that has options does not get stuck on a woman so easily and that is a good thing.
